Senator Tom Davis, the state senator for Beaufort and Jasper counties, will update constituents on pending initiatives to promote and facilitate the development of workforce housing in our part of the Lowcountry, which include legislation to expand allowable state LIHTC credits, appropriate revenues from the state general fund to local housing authorities, and provide local governments with the option of using existing Accommodations and Hospitality tax revenues for the development of workforce housing.
